Public IP

Overview

Public IP and its public network export bandwidth are IP connectivity services provided by the platform. After the cloud server purchases a public IP, it can communicate with the public network through the public IP.

Constraints and Restrictions

A cloud server can only have one public IP.
The lifecycle of the public IP must be consistent with the instance, and can only be renewed together with the instance.

Purchase public IP

1. When you purchase a cloud server, a public IP will be given by default.

2. You can customize the public IP bandwidth according to business needs.

Note: There is only one public IP under one instance, and the public IP can be changed free of charge within the quota.

Change public IP

If the public IP address is changed due to business needs, a new public IP address can be assigned to the instance through the Change Public IP function.

Constraints and Restrictions

The public IP can be changed for free within the quota, but it will be charged if the quota is exceeded.
The expired public IP cannot be changed.

In the instance list, replace:

1. In the cloud server instance list, click the More button in the Operation column, and then click Change Public IP in the pop-up box.

2. In the pop-up window, check "I have confirmed the above risks" and click OK.

Change in the public IP list:

1. In the public IP list, in the Operation column, click Change IP.

2. In the pop-up window, check "I have confirmed the above risks" and click OK.

Note: After changing the public IP, the original IP cannot be retrieved and the instance will restart. Please operate with caution.
